Big Fish Fishing Log

Went out fishing again this Sunday… not much to report. Tried out two new places to fish that I had been wanting to fish.  First spot was gorgeous, but VERY crowded.  Very clear water with lots of cover and structures.  Could easily sight fish there, but no signs of Largemouths. Looked like cats or maybe tilapia and HUGE (20-30) schools of fish, that I’m guessing were American Shad or Grass Carp.  Long – 1.5 to 2 foot – silvery fish.  They  were roaming around and I could get them to chase a small white spinner bait that I ripped through them at the same depth or slightly above them. Went out fishing last night. Really nice night… slight breeze, partly cloudy skies, and a little cooler than usual. Is fall in the air? Here in Central Florida, we don’t get out of summer until October, if we’re lucky!

This is the first post. I guess I’ll explain a little as what I’m doing here. My son, Noah and I have been fishing very regularly this summer. We try to get out any time we can So this is a little log/report of what we’ve been doing out on the water.

I’ll also post reviews of lures, or write about news from the world of fishing. Over on the right, you can get a live RSS pull from the FLV and BASS series news feeds.
